JOB TITLE: TRUCK DRIVER
We are looking for an experienced truck driver to serve our supply chain logistics department in a safe and timely manner.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Proven work experience as a truck driver and adequate
knowledge in the structure of Trucks.
2. Ability to speak, understand and write the English language.
3. Possess Valid driver’s license, Enthusiastic, dynamic and
self-motivated.
4. Willing to work at odd hours during peak working seasons
and ability to follow instructions.
5. Ability to work under pressure, positive attitude towards
work, and ability to read and follow travel guides,plan and
learn routes.
6. Must be physically fit, adaptability and foresight to handle
unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)
7. Should be reliable and punctual, have a mature working
attitude, friendly and presentable.
8. Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and
regulations
9. No recent moving or driving violations
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Transport finished goods and raw materials over land to
and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution
centers.
2. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and
perform preventative maintenance.
3. Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
4. Document and log work/rest periods and kilometers spent
driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
5. Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight,
route designations, parking and break periods) as well as
with company policies and procedures
6. Collect and verify delivery instructions
SKILL REQUIRED:
1. Excellent communication skills
2. Technical and problem solving skills
3. Strong presentations skill and Fast thinker
QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of SSCE certificate.
DURATION: Full-Time employment
